KUMI is an innovative, results-oriented laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation medical spa. Crystal, the owner, sought a professional skincare consultant to help her enhance Medspa’s current brand messaging and visual identity.

In partnership with our creative director, we conducted an in-depth brand audit to understand KUMI’s current positioning and conduct a SWOT analysis.

Crafted a brand guide outlining KUMI’s core values, mission statement, tone of voice, and brand’s social voice.

Website Copywriting:

Ensured the website copy was clear, concise, and persuasive. The improved copy reflects the new brand messaging and emphasizes the effectiveness and efficacy of their treatments.

We came in to help stoke the fire, turning on an earned media campaign to increase brand awareness and reinforce thought leadership among national and backyard audiences.

ACTION:

Media Outreach & Relationship Building:

Researched and identified key writers, journalists, and editors in top-tier media relevant to the brand’s niche while leveraging relationships with key reporters for coverage momentum.

Media Strategy:

Strategized the editorial calendar. Outlining key focuses, pitching angles, publication outreach opportunities, warm/hot leads, and follow-up strategy. Created a comprehensive media kit with high-quality images, product information, and brand background for easy journalist access. And crafted monthly press releases based on the said strategy.

Thought Leadership Initiative:

Collaborated with brand experts and Dr. Marc, the founder, to develop thought-provoking, informative brand journalistic pieces related to the brand’s Clean Clinical Vitamins and its mission– used for pitching and founder-featured pieces.

What social media tools do you use to measure campaign metrics and social listening?

Later Media and Hootsuite. But if you have a preferred CRM platform already embedded in your marcom team, I can manage social on there with no problem! I’ve managed strategy, community engagement, and developed KPI reports using social CRMs such as Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, and HubSpot.

What social platforms do you provide strategy and management services?

Meta, Pinterest, and LinkedIN. 

Please note: If you need TikTok strategy and community management, I will partner with a TikTok social media expert who can support your brand’s growth on the platform.

What type of brands and/or entrepreneurs do you work with?

CANCELLATIONS AND/OR REFUNDS:

Are any of the experiences fully refundable?

We have an automatic 50/50 payment plan on all experiences. Your first payment is a 35% non-refundable deposit. Please note, if you cancel after the first 1:1 session, we require you to make a full 50% payment. All further payments will be canceled. Does not include the ‘Full-Day, 1:1 Session Brand Voice Clarity’ session.

What about the ‘Full-Day, 1:1 Session Brand Voice Clarity’ session? Is that non-refundable?

There are no refunds for 'BrandClarity' consultation service, used or unused. Users understand that obligation for payment is binding for the full term agreed upon.

Cancellations must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance. A one-time only rescheduled session will be honored. Being more than fifteen (15) minutes late to a session will be considered a cancellation. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, The Brand Journalista may be required to cancel sessions. We will notify the User as early as feasibly possible of the cancellation and coordinate rescheduling. Payment is accepted upfront via online payment. Payment is due in full before services can be rendered. We do not accept payment installments for this session.
